CAM Rider is an award winning company; it has been in existence since 1977 and was originally part of a large County Council, Road Safety Department. In 1992 it became a private operation under the direction of Bernard Adams, who is now the Managing Director of CAM Rider Cambridge and also Chief Executive Officer of the franchise company that administers all the different sites CAM rider trains from. In the past 25 years CAM Rider has grown to be market leader in the field of motorcycle training. The company employs over 80 instructors and staff and provides CBT and full test training to over 4,500 people per year.

London branches are run by Andrew Hale the Managing Director of Cam Rider London. Andy has 18 years of experience of teaching and is a Rospa Gold certified rider. In addition to motorcycling, Andy is a fully qualified jet pilot and flying instructor.
The Peterborough, Corby, Grantham and Kettering sites are run by Graham Steers and his wife Sarah. Graham is a highly experienced and qualified instructor with over 17 years in the training industry.
CAM Rider Training has gained a reputation within the industry for setting the highest possible standards. It is represented on the Executive Council of the Motorcycle Riders Training Association and is the only advisory body to the Government on the Advisory Group for Motorcycling, which was formed by Lord Whitty and David Jamieson MP - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Roads. CAM Rider has been asked to speak at Driving Standards Agency conferences and to give key note speeches and presentations to the industry in whole.

CAM Rider’ s awards include the ‘Arthur Anderson – Best Commercial Business Award’, and was also a finalist in Cambridgeshire’s Business of the Year. The company regularly gives seminars on best business practise and Bernard has been asked to speak at many key note functions, including the Inland Revenue’s “Business Initiative” scheme.
Through his additional voluntary work as Vice Chairman of the MRTA, Bernard and CAM Rider work closely both with the DSA and the Government, maintaining direct communication with John Spellar, Minister of State for Transport.

In recognition of CAM Rider’s high standards, various businesses including Pizza Hut and also the Pizza and Pasta Association have approached CAM Rider to procure provision of Vocational Training for their employees.
