Eyesight & Highway Code

For both the CBT and Final practical Test there will be an eyesight test. You will need to be able to read a normal number plate at 20.5 meters. If you need glasses or contact lenses to do this then you will need to use them whilst you train.

For CBT you will need to have a basic but reasonable appreciation of the highway code. We recommend purchasing a copy and doing a little revision before starting your course. It is important for a rider to have a good appreciation of all road signs and rules if they wish to be a safe rider and are serious about wishing to pass their test. We recommend any rider to spend time reading the highway code thoroughly.
