. CAM Rider Instrcutors at DSA Cardington

Fourteen new instructors are coming up through the ranks with CAM Rider. Already experienced and very able riders, all new CAM Rider instructors go through an industry leading training program.

Starting off with applications, interviews and assessments; instructors are put through a series of arduous and rigorous training and testing programs. Each step gives greater qualification and leads to ongoing professional development.

Luke Isted, one of CAM Rider's senior instructors has been putting two groups of current and new instructors though their paces in anticipation of their formal assessments at the Driving Standards Agency testing facility in Cardington, Bedfordshire.

On Friday 5th February 2011 a group of instructors were shown around the DSA testing facility and were warmly met by Paul Colliss the Head of Training Development for the DSA. Paul was kind enough to give the instructors a guided tour and a long session of questions and answers about what is expected in the examinations and advice on being a good instructor.

Bernard Adams, CAM Rider's Managing Director said: "We take the whole business of instructor standards exceptionally seriously - it's not good enough to say you are the best, you need to prove it".

CAM Rider are renowned in the industry for the in depth and professional training regime that instructors both new and existing are put through. So much so that they are consulted by the Department of Transport, the DSA and government ministers as to best practice, and advise on how it is done. Where as some companies can claim to train an instructor in a week, at CAM rider the process takes months and years of continual ongoing development.

Best wishes are passed on to instructors studying for further qualifications and a big thank you to Paul Colliss of the DSA.
