Bedford's team

All of the instructors; whether full or part time, joined CAMRider with the aim of putting something back into motorcycling and with the hope of helping others to gain a similar enjoyment. All hold full DSA licences to teach the elements you require. We do not use unqualified staff or assistant instructors. All of our instructors have been through extensive training programs and hold the very highest qualifications possible.

David Lewis

David Lewis

David is our lead instructor at Bedford. He is fully qualified as a Driving Standards Agency CBT Cardington and a Direct Access Instructor. Having had a vast amount of experience riding for pleasure and instructing, David is an extremely competent teacher and his enthusiasm for motorcycling is highly infectious. One of David's key strengths is his ability to respond to the learners needs and to ensure a lesson plan fits perfectly. His patient friendly manner is also always bound to get even the most nervous learner to relax and enjoy their training.

As well as being one of the most competent motorcycle instructors you will find - David is also a keen musician and has Grade 7 drumming qualifications!

Steve Ives one of our Bedford Instructors

Steve Ives

Steve is our newest addition to the Camrider Team.  He is a dedicated biker originally from New Zealand and with a massive passion for motorbikes.  He currently owns 22 which he keeps in pristine condition and lovingly polishes on a weekly basis (we hope) .

Steve has proved to be a real hit with our customers who have consistently praised his calm, patient and encouraging instructing manner.  On a recent DVSA inspection he also flew through with flying colours and we can genuinely say we are proud to have him onboard as a key member of our team.

As well as being a bike nut Steve is fully qualified as a computers systems engineer and we will be relying on him to get the 3g wifi running up at the Bedford site.
