Facilities Bury St Edmunds
CAMRider Bury St Edmunds has all the latest and up to date facilities that a new rider could hope for. As we are part of the UK’s largest rider training company you can be sure that the site, equipment and staff are the very finest you can find.
We have invested in a one site policy where you will find new loan bikes, helmets, gloves, jackets and waterproof trousers available for you to borrow whilst you train. We have sizes XS to XXL. Please call us to arrange for clothing or helmets that are outside of that range.
The site has a huge off road training area that is exclusively available to us seven days a week. Next to our training pad are warm dry classrooms and rest areas for you to take your training which does not involve motorcycles, as well as having somewhere to safely change and store your gear.
Inside of the classroom you will be able to relax and enjoy lessons as well as having facilities such as reviewing on road footage from the instructors helmet camera and to be able to go through DSA test exam questions and use our unique progression sheets.
We provide free tea and coffee as well as soft drinks and have rest room facilities on site too.
As well as our huge off road site and warm, dry classrooms we also have on site motorcycle garaging and workshop area so you will not have to swap between different places to fit together your training.
Very importantly we have a large fleet of new high end training motorcycles that have been expertly set up and adapted to make your training and test easier. All our motorcycles are under three years old and come from the best top end manufacturers. We also only use motorcycles that are compliant for the new test regime in 2013. You will not find elderly and run down bikes at CAMRider as we know that good equipment makes good riders
CAMRider are proud to have such a great self contained training complex where CBT, 125cc training and Direct Access training can all take place on one site. We should point out that some companies will start one part of a CBT at a motorcycle shop then drive you by car to a remote location for off road work where there are no spare bikes, toilets or rest facilities nearby. We at CAMRider do not think this is best practice and hence why we have invested hundreds of thousands of pounds nationally to ensure you have the very best training environment.
