Cambridge's Team

Bern Adams
Bern is the Managing Director of the group and based at the head offices within the Cambridge site. Bern has over 24 years experience as an instructor and his qualifications include CBT Cardington, Direct Access and DSA ERS (Enhanced Rider Scheme). For 10 years Bern was Chairman of the Motorcycle Rider Training Association where he and other colleagues worked tirelessly to improve rider standards, enhance instructor qualifications and to ensure learners were taught in small class sizes across the UK. Bern currently sits on several government bodies advising the Minister of State for Transport in regards of best practice for motorcycle training. Bern rides a Triumph Sprint ST and lots of other motorcycles because as well as his day job he also finds time to be the motorcycle correspondent for a large regional newspaper.
Luke Isted
Luke is the owner of the Cambridge franchise, and the Company Lead Instructor. His love and knowledge of motorcycling is reflected in the position he holds. If you want any information on bikes and gear Luke is the one to talk to. He’s the one who’s going to have the answer to your question. Having previous teaching experience at Cambridge Regional College it was a natural progression to become an instructor here at CAMRider. With 20 years riding and 11 years as an instructor with full qualifications in CBT Cardington, Direct Access and ERS (Enhanced rider scheme) and a long list of bikes Luke has the experience needed to teach pupils with different styles and different bikes in mind for the future. Luke currently teaches on a Ducati Multistrada and for the weekend brings out a Ducati 1199 Panigale S.
Ken MacFadzean
The first sign that Kens arrived is the cheerful whistling, if you’ve heard that then you in good hands. With over 20 years experience as an instructor at Camrider with full qualifications in CBT Cardington, Direct Access and ERS (Enhanced rider scheme) Ken has methods for all pupils to pass their test. His calm and relaxed personality gets rid of any nerves people might have about riding and by the end of the session the pupils have enjoyed it so much they can’t wait to get back on the bikes. Ken rides a Honda CBF 1000 which you will often find parked outside a cafe after a days ride.
no img mark Fredrik Sandin
Playing a hugely valuable part of the CAMRider team, Fredrik is an experienced and very competent instructor qualified for both CBT and Direct Access. He has instructed in a number of countries and spent time travelling by bike across Europe, so has a vast amount of experience and knowledge to impart on students wishing to do similar. People say that Freddie makes them feel relaxed and confident and this shows in an excellent pass rate and the many emails of thanks he receives from happy customers.
Nick Knights
Nick is an exceptionally competent instructor with years of experience of both riding and teaching. As well as being fully DSA qualified Nick also regularly marshals large scale rideouts across the UK and even Europe. Nick has a very friendly and patient manner and is a very well respected within the motorcycle community. When you see a huge red BMW coming into CAMRider or an even larger Kawasaki ZZR1200 then it’s a reasonable chance it’s Nick on his way in.

Lexi Gilbert
Lexi is CAM Rider's Senior Administrator. Calm, competent and people focused Lexi works tirelessly to schedule courses, increase availability of lessons and also liaising with the DSA. Lexi passed her test with CAM Rider ten years ago and now rides a Kawasaki ZX6R all year round. In particular she loves her annual 1000 mile trip to Edinburgh via the Lake District, Peak District and Yorkshire Dales. Lexi is known in the industry as one of the most professional and experienced professionals in rider training. She has been asked by the DSA to sit on several committees to advise them on how best to improve service, and combined with this Lexi has huge experience is administration and customer care. In her words. "It's all about the customer experience - focus on getting that right and the rest will fit much more easily into place"
David Scrine

David Scrine
David is our newest instructor to join the Camrider Cambridge team. Competent, capable, knowledgeable and meticulous are all words that you would associate with David. He has been riding bikes for 36 years, has an incredible knowledge about bikes and huge love for Harleys. Just ask him how many he owns!

In his spare time, Dave runs a motorcycle club, goes to rallies and does a lot of voluntary work for MAGPAS as well as a local charity for disadvantaged youths looking at getting into biking.

Jo Galczynska
Jo is the Office Manager and another one of our friendly booking staff. Jo started off learning to ride by taking a CBT with CAMRider, and a couple of years later she jumped at a chance to come and join the CAM Rider office team. Jo is a very efficient administrator who never lets a test date slip by. You will be very impressed by how she takes care of all the test details and makes sure the DSA are informed every step of the way. Jo has a great knowledge of motorcycle training. Combine this with her degree in public relations and we know you will find her a great friend when it comes to booking you in for a course.
Tom MacFadzean
Tom is a fully qualified DAS instructor but also works here in the CAMRider office. He is the son of one of our longest serving instructors so he should know his stuff! He passed his A2 test with CAMRider in 2010 and had his restriction on his licence lifted in October 2012 before training and qualifiying as a CAMRider instructor. After recently trading in his Suzuki Bandit for a Husqvarna he’s been enjoying the byways of Cambridgeshire but finds that this bike is not as comfortable to sleep on as the Bandit. When not using his extensive experience and knowledge to help customers Tom also plays guitar in his band (he already has the long hair). With his calm and 'quirky' nature Tom is a perfect fit in the Cambridge office and instructor team.
Dan Everitt
Dan has been with CAMRider for over 11 years and knows the booking process inside out. We all look to Dan to resolve complex law issues and on how best to schedule courses so they work perfectly for our customers. A key skill you will find with Dan is his attention to detail in making sure every aspect of your training package flows smoothly and connects at the right time. Definitely a very safe pair of hands. As well as working with CAMRider Dan has become quite skilled in the art of fencing and you can find him battling down an opponent at the end of a foil on the evenings.
Samantha Harrison
Sam looks after all the finances and accounts for the office. If we need to track down a payment or find out what costs what then Sam is always on hand to find the detail. Sam is fully AAT qualified with years of experience. She can also help you buy the right course too!

Molly Frost

Dr. Molly can also be known as wonder woman as there doesn't seem to be anything she hasn't done in her life. Between scuba diving, canyoning, playing tennis, playing in her band and lecturing on Maths at university Molly loves to race motorbikes. And boy is she good at it! Molly is a fully qualified DAS instructor and has had had an enormous amount of experience teaching motorcycling so you know you're in safe hands learning with her. As well as having an abundance of patience, Molly seems to have an everlasting energy which anyone would be envious of and her enthusiasm for riding is extremely infectious.
