Now back in the saddle and having attended a fantastic ‘rusty rider’ session with Camrider she has retrained as an instructor. As a qualified teacher and having worked in school leadership, being part of the Camrider family allows her to use her teaching skills to promote safe riding. Camrider are fantastic! They are adaptable to your individual needs. They have lowered bikes for us shorter riders. Other companies say they have lowered bikes but disappoint when you go try them. Makes sense to go and view the bikes before committing to a training plan. They also have a big area to practise MOD1 full scale. Fab mixed trainers. Can’t fault them. Try for your self. #motorbiketraining #mod1 #cbt

Daniel Sturman

At 45 years old I decided to do my CBT never ridden a motorcycle before, life had just got in the way so to speak, wasn’t even sure it I’d like it! Turned up with all the gear and no idea LOL. The course instructors Dave who was training to become instructor and Ben were great down to earth genuine guys had a real laugh with them. Starting in the class room and then training ground in the morning wasn’t really feeling it all tense and nervous at one point I was going to just give up and go home £200 lighter LOL, but stuck with it. At lunch time before the road ride wasn’t feeling too confident but I’d come this far. Once on the road everything fell into place, started to relax and enjoy the whole experience, the afternoon flew by and I had passed. Would not hesitate recommending CAM Rider to anyone. Will look to them in the future for further training for sure.

Camrider is such a great school taught by experienced bike riders who love what they do. Can’t fault any of them all very friendly and can ask stupid questions and not feel daft. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to learn to ride you won’t go wrong. Matt and Jim big thank you outstanding

I paid £200 for the day to do my cbt and whilst starting at 9, we finished at 2 and asked me to pay for another session for an additional £169 just because I couldn’t get used to the motorcycle clutch. I understand not everyone is going to get it first try but this was poor teaching, telling you what to do and not how to do. Honestly after wanting a bike for ages and getting all the stuff for one, to finally getting to ride one this place has put my hopes to rest as I dont even want to do it anymore

Don’t bother. Paid £199 for my lad to do his CBT here. He was sent home after 3 hours and asked to pay again and come back as he was struggling to get used to gears. Couldn’t be bothered to teach him clutch control and just wanted to stick him on a twist and go instead. Clearly CBT standards have fallen a long way since I did mine as I was thoroughly trained on clutch control and gearing with conscientious instructors who actually had the time to teach their paying students. Cannot recommend this place less. Awaiting the generic condescending reply I’ve seen to similar reviews that mention the same thing about safety and DVSA standards and blah blah blah but really. YOU are training instructors. You should be teaching people who have never been on two wheels before instead of crushing teenage lads confidence and just sending them on their way. Poor boy was devastated. Worked hard and saved hard to pay for the training and just been robbed. Completely unacceptable. Won’t be rebooking with Camrider that’s for certain.
