About Camrider Peterborough

Our Peterborough motorcycle training site has a large off-road training area, located in a quiet industrial area to make the first on-road manoeuvres safe and easy to master. We were the first training company to introduce seven days a week training, to ensure small class sizes and to only use fully qualified instructors at all levels. We have been the leaders in pupil and instructor training since 1977.

We try to make the CBT a really enjoyable experience and you will find we have a large range of bikes for you to learn on. Additionally, we provide loan helmets, gloves, jackets and waterproofs. Our office staff will book you to tests we have reserved in advance and make sure you have details of exactly what’s needed. If you need any information or have any questions we are just a phone call away.

Des O'Connell

Very happy with my all of my training from Camrider. Instructors very good especially Graham, Laura and Ray. Sarah in the office is fantastic and keeps the wheels turning, if you’ll pardon the pun. Thanks for getting me my bike licence in only 6 weeks.

Having never been on a scooter. before I was nervous to do my training. We had a great day with Laura who was patient and very good at explaining all the different steps and at the end of the training I passed my CBT. Thank you Laura for a great experience. We would recommend this company for their professionalism.

I had a great CBT session with Laura today. She was fantastic and kept me motivated the whole time. The bike I loaned from them was in great condition and you could see everything there was well looked after. There is a nice, large training area for you to use that really helps you get to grips with the controls in a safe space. I’m looking forward to coming back in the near future for the next step. Thanks again Laura and Camrider!

Gareth Dickenson

Most of the instructors are a HR departments worst nightmare and i felt the courses lacked structure. But they got me through my DAS course (mod 1 1st attempt mod 2 2nd) Would have been nice to have had the same instructor through the course or one who remembers you from 1 lesson to the next.

I went to the Camrider in Peterborough to learn to ride a Moped. I had the pleasure of training with my instructor, Laura, who was knowledgeable and paitent and took her time to explain each step in detail and reasurred me, since I was nervous about riding a Moped. I am seventeen and I have Dyspraxia and this was handled with professionalism and care. After a few attempts, I was granted my certificate to ride a Moped on the road. Overall, I highly recommend Camrider for anyone who is looking to obtain their CBT. The staff is fantastic and was very supportive and helpful. The quality of training is second to none. Thank you Camrider for helping me pass my CBT so that I have achieved my goal!
