I did my CBT with John from Camrider in Ipswich yesterday. I would just like to sing his praises from the rooftops. What an experience and what a day. this instructor knows his stuff and more importantly knows how to teach and get the best out of people. Johns standards are high and that’s exactly what I wanted from the day to come away feeling safe on the road. What a personable and professional man I’ll never forget it and just a huge thank you!

Disappointing experience with a CBT at the Ipswich centre.
My partner paid £225 for their CBT and, due to poor weather, key elements of the off-road training were cut short before the road ride. As the least confident rider in the group, they felt they did not receive the level of instruction and support they needed.
What was most concerning was the attitude of the instructor, who made comments suggesting he would rather teach DAS/A2 courses than train new riders. This did little to inspire confidence in a nervous beginner.
I subsequently emailed Camrider with my concerns but have received no acknowledgement or response.
For a premium-priced CBT, I expected a much higher standard of training and customer service.

These guys are great at what they do and saw me through my A licence from CBT to Mod 2 (with zero faults on my mod 2). My thanks go out to John, Jan, and Jim, the training was superb and you are truly lovely people.
I’ll likely see you all at the Copdock Show (on my Ducati 😁).

Camrider Ipswich (and Cambridge) came highly recommended and for good reason. Did CBT last week in Ipswich at age 50 with a mate, John and Warren were brilliant instructors both round the cones and on the road. They offered great advice, including to experienced drivers (with patience…), a very amusing double act! A really good day and decent value for what you achieve by the end of the day, including all the gear for the day. Can’t wait to go back asap for Modules 1 and 2. Thanks again

Did my CBT on the 14th April with John riding a 125cc manual. He is a fantastic tutor and we had an all round chilled out session on a pleasant day. Loved the models and teaching style. Highly recommended.
