Motorcycle Training Classes & Courses
Camrider is an Approved Training Body licenced by the DVSA
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
CBT is a course of instruction and assessment for new riders wanting to ride a moped or geared motorcycle. It must be taken by any rider wanting to use a 50cc moped, or 125cc motorcycle before they get on the road using “L” plates.

Entry requirements:
a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum age: 16
What is included
- CBT certificate (DL196)
- Loan 50cc Moped or 125cc Motorcycle
- Petrol and insurance
- Loan helmet, gloves, jackets and waterproofs
- Expert instruction from DVSA qualified instructors
Full motorcycle test
Pass your full motorcycle test and ride a large cc motorcycle. Training is provided by our expert, DVSA qualified instructors and we provide a fully managed service including CBT, online theory practice, full DVSA training & the final practical tests.
Full Test
Entry requirements:
a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum ages:
24 years for “A” licence = Any cc any power
19 years for “A2” licence = Any cc max 47bhp power
c) A motorcycle theory test pass. You can start the course without this but will need a pass at least 10 days before your final tests

Our Motorcycle Training Services
Did my CBT here previously, then came back after a long gap for my full DAS licence. Even with all that time off the bike they got me up to speed quick, and I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time.
They get how students think. Rather than pile the pressure on they just get you to relax and do it, which is what got me through without overthinking. Genuinely nice, funny people who clearly love what they do and want you to enjoy it too with them. You even get ex-students popping in to say hello, and they actually want you to come back and show off whatever bike you end up with, not just pass and disappear.

Recently completed my direct access course with these guys. I can honestly I really enjoyed the course and also the company! I met all the instructors and each and everyone of them helped me become a better rider and helped me to pass my test! I can’t recommend enough, really good bunch 😎😊

I just completed my Mod 2 with Camrider Bedford.
I can’t thank them enough.
I knew I am complicated person, as I learn things in an unusual way, but I never dreamed there is a team that could handle it all. They made me feel safe, secured, calm and relaxed ever moment under my course from the beginning till the end.
Katie, Ralph ,Mike and Dale are incredible with their patience, empathy and enthusiasm. They were right there every step of the my way, helping me to reach my goal. They are fabolous, motivated and real in the mean time.
And Sally, she is the amazing Heart of the Team.
She is managing every couses from the background, booking tests and if necessary bring down the stars to make sure you are happy with your schedule.
They are absolut STARS!

Writing on my wife’s account – I did CBT, DAS, MOD1 and MOD2 with Camriders in Bedford what can I say they are truly amazing. I highly highly recommend anyone looking to start riding to use them. All the staff are super friendly and extremely knowledgable and show great care and compassion in what they do it really shows how much they all care. You can have a laugh with them so that took lots of the stress off when learning. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Ralph for my CBT and Dale Mike and Katie for all the work you have done teaching me. I’d especially like to thank Mike as he has been my personal favourite in supporting me throughout the whole process and helping me believe I could do it thank you mate
