Motorcycle Training Classes & Courses
Camrider is an Approved Training Body licenced by the DVSA
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
CBT is a course of instruction and assessment for new riders wanting to ride a moped or geared motorcycle. It must be taken by any rider wanting to use a 50cc moped, or 125cc motorcycle before they get on the road using “L” plates.

a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum age: 16
What is included
- CBT certificate (DL196)
- Loan 50cc Moped or 125cc Motorcycle
- Petrol and insurance
- Loan helmet, gloves, jackets and waterproofs
- Expert instruction from DVSA qualified instructors
Full motorcycle test
Pass your full motorcycle test and ride a large cc motorcycle. Training is provided by our expert, DVSA qualified instructors and we provide a fully managed service including CBT, online theory practice, full DVSA training & the final practical tests.
Full Test
Entry requirements:
a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum ages:
24 years for “A” licence = Any cc any power
19 years for “A2” licence = Any cc max 47bhp power
c) A motorcycle theory test pass. You can start the course without this but will need a pass at least 10 days before your final tests

I’d give these guys 10 stars if I could.
Extremely professional, experienced and your go to partner for doing your CBT and Mod1 and Mod2 tests. All the instructors are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and being experienced bikers can take you from complete beginner right through to your full licence. Its been 35+ years since I sat on a 50/100/125 but I couldn’t have got back on a bike with a better team. Go to Camrider Bedford and you will not regret it.

I recently passed my DAS with the team over at Camrider Bedford, and I cannot recommend them enough. They are calm, patient (at times very patient!), and know their stuff. Every question or query is answered honestly and concisely which is exactly what you need so you’re not overloaded with information.
If you’re considering doing your bike licence, you won’t find a better group of instructors to teach you everything you need to know to not only pass your test, but also be a safe rider once you have.

I did my CBT and DAS through Camrider Bedford. Loved every minute of it. Pete did my CBT and it was great fun. He made it very relaxed and easy going. Thanks to Katie, Dale and Mike for getting me through the DAS, Mod1 and 2 both first time. It was a great experience and they were excellent instructors. I did my CBT, MOD 1 & MOD 2 with the team at Bedford. I couldn’t recommend Ralph, Katie, Mike and Dale enough! They are all great at what they do, extremely patient and professional. I’ll be popping back in for a regular cup of tea and catch up!
