Camrider is an award-winning Motorcycle Training company that’s been getting new and inexperienced riders through their CBT and full test courses since 1977.
Over the years we’ve become one of the largest motorcycle training providers in the UK, and have developed expertly structured courses to provide first-class training for learners.

Motorcycle Training Classes & Courses
Camrider is an Approved Training Body licenced by the DVSA
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
CBT is a course of instruction and assessment for new riders wanting to ride a moped or geared motorcycle. It must be taken by any rider wanting to use a 50cc moped, or 125cc motorcycle before they get on the road using “L” plates.

a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum age: 16
What is included
- CBT certificate (DL196)
- Loan 50cc Moped or 125cc Motorcycle
- Petrol and insurance
- Loan helmet, gloves, jackets and waterproofs
- Expert instruction from DVSA qualified instructors
Full motorcycle test
Pass your full motorcycle test and ride a large cc motorcycle. Training is provided by our expert, DVSA qualified instructors and we provide a fully managed service including CBT, online theory practice, full DVSA training & the final practical tests.
Full Test
Entry requirements:
a) UK provisional licence photocard
b) Minimum ages:
24 years for “A” licence = Any cc any power
19 years for “A2” licence = Any cc max 47bhp power
c) A motorcycle theory test pass. You can start the course without this but will need a pass at least 10 days before your final tests

Couldn’t recommend Camrider enough. They really made the whole experience a pleasure from start to finish. For a newbee biker they were very patient with me and taught me a hell of alot of stuff. A big shout out to one of the instructors Ben, who without him I doubt I would have passed

I’m highly recommending Cam Rider in Sawston (Cambridge), their training methods are perfect and the instructors are brilliant. Passed my Mod 1 today with no faults and I’ve got my mod 2 booked a week after! I’ve had all three instructors and they have been nothing but amazing! Any queries I’ve had they have answered. Five stars from me 👍.

A great experience with Mark, Matt, and Aaron, not forgetting Luke and Vicky! Who together provided a great learning experience, informative and focused first of all but also fun and inclusive. Highly recommended to all dipping their toe into the world of two wheels!

Cannot recommend these guys enough for doing any sort of motorbike training, I took my full bike licence with these guys and passed first time today, they have a way of teaching people that makes it very easy to understand. massive thankyou to Matt for getting me through both my tests and training days, and a big thankyou to Aaron for doing the same. Brilliant group of people, very friendly, endless amounts of support. Thankou again.
